A spring evening full of play, connection, and the sweetest full-circle moment at Fellows Lake!
This session was such a joy! I first photographed Haley back in 2018 for her senior session—she traveled all the way from Missouri to Driftwood Beach in Georgia to work with me, and I’ll never forget what an honor that was. Getting to photograph her now as a mama of two made this feel so full-circle in the best way!
We had planned to shoot at one of my favorite lakeside spots near Fair Grove, but when we arrived, all of the gates were unexpectedly locked! We shifted plans and made a little patch of grass near the playground work—and honestly? It turned out so sweet! Their daughter brought all the energy and imagination of being four, and their little guy stayed close to mama, happiest in those soft, snuggly moments. We followed their lead and made space for both personalities to shine.
Haley looked absolutely beautiful in one of my favorite client closet dresses (which just so happens to be named the Haley dress!). I loved getting to photograph this season of their story—the in-between moments, the giggles, the connection they share. Sometimes the unexpected locations bring the biggest magic!
If you’ve ever worried about your little ones being too shy or too wild for photos, I hope this encourages you. They don’t need to be anything other than exactly who they are. We’ll follow their pace, soak in the moment, and capture your family in a way that feels real and true.
