Soft golden light, sweet toddler giggles, and a calm spring evening—this Springfield MO family session was full of connection and joy!
This session was such a treat! I first photographed Hannah back in 2017 for her Marshfield, MO senior session, then again in 2019 when she and Jacob were dating—and now, seeing them as parents to two beautiful girls was the sweetest full-circle moment!
We planned to shoot at one of my favorite Springfield, MO park spots, but nature had other plans! The area had recently been control-burned, and the back trail was flooded from all the spring rain (gotta love that Ozarks weather). We ended up finding the loveliest little pocket of light and color and made it our own—and it turned out absolutely perfect!
Their oldest daughter is almost two and brought all the magic of toddlerhood—curiosity, independence, and big emotions wrapped in tiny steps! We played gentle games, followed her lead, and gave her breaks when she needed them. Their youngest, just three months old, was a calm little snuggle-bug the whole time!
What really stood out was how present Hannah and Jacob were—trusting the process, loving their girls exactly as they are, and soaking up every moment together! That kind of genuine connection is where the most meaningful photos live—the ones you’ll treasure forever.
